ROCKGY1 says:

Thanks Luke for the video I went out and bought two B N M silver cat I love them

Carson Taylor says:

im kinda new to fishing and i got a few questions.

1. is it ok to use a spinning reel with the st. croix
2. can i comfortably cast around 8 oz with the st. croix
3. what is a good spinning reel with a lot of line capacity (assuming money isnt a problem)

J.J. K. says:

Hey Luke can you do a video on slow oscillation reels and if they cast further then normal reels?

steve noe says:

For me, a catfish rod needs to be white. It just shows up better in day or night. I use a couple of ugly catfish rods and it just works for me.

Ross Best says:

carp are ugly

Brenden Burnham says:

This is a great review on the many different cat rods out there. It sure can be overwhelming when trying to find the right one and this really helps. I have two of the whiskerseeker 7.6′ rods and also a Mitchel AvoCat rod. I really like the Whiskerseekers for the tip sensitivity but that AvoCat sure can cast far so when wanting to get the big bait out there is my go to. Was wondering if you could do a review and let me know what you think of the AvoCat if you get a chance.

Tycen Cerisano says:

Spinning rods are Better than a biatcaster rod

Dtron 75 says:

Yeah that bnm silver cat that’s my favorite too

ExtremeBUZZ92 says:

I’ve been using a Berkeley Big game rod, it’s 21$ and to me is a good rod, maybe check it out and see what you think? It’s a medium-heavy moderate action rod, comes in both spinning and casting. I’ve been using the rod for about 5 years and love them for the price. I’m in NO way sponsored by them.

arrow slinger14 says:

which ones are combos

Dylan royer says:

I have a rippin lips heavy rod what reel would you recommend

kpapa91 says:

I’m looking for my first catfishing rod do you still have the same opinion on the BnM Silver cat?

Mario Jaurez says:

I got a brand new Bn’m silver cat rod for 12.97 because walmart had them in the wrong section I didn’t realize it until.i watched this video!!! So sweet and it does work amazing!!!

Tommy wayne Shaw says:

I watch you regularly with my kids, yet to comment.. I recently came into a St. Croix mojo cat medium heavy baitcasting rod, what reel would you recommend? Or at least what size reel?

Craig Higgins says:

Hi, could you do a review comparing “bumping” rods? Thanks !

PriceBrothersOutdoors says:

when you say “made for 2oz of lead” do you mean the lead itself? or the entire rig and bait included?

Game freak says:

I love your videos and can you make more of these videos

budget gamer2017 says:

Any thoughts on the slow stick? I bought one a few years ago and never really used it

El MZ says:

Hi thanks for the video Witch reel would you recommend on the BnM

Billy Nguyen says:

Can I still win a fishing pole??

bob says:

This has to be the best review I have ever seen on rods! Very clear alot of information and alot of help. Man you linked all the rods in the description too

Valerie Ramirez says:

I was thinking about getting my husband the 10′ bnm silver cat magnum for a penn spin fisher 10500 reel. Do you still love the bnm?

Flatheadfletch says:

I’m sorry but I have to disagree with you on cheap rod choice !
If your going the inexpensive buy the ugly stik every time ! WHY !!!! Because it’s glass I’ve graphite!! Into not going to break if you end up with a 50 pounder on the other end. It happens. Theirs only A few companies that use this process. Ugly stick was the first !! Now St Croix Mojo for $160.00 lol. I am totally sold on Whisker Seeker , S-glass over Graphite built by Cat fishermen not suits just out for your money. Going Cheap then go Ugly !!! Want the Best Buy Whisker Seeker !!!

Joey Oathoudt says:

I want it

Haz Sports says:

Hey Luke, which one of these rods would be best suited to fishing for wels in the uk. I am casting anywhere between 10-60 yards, am throwing up to 4oz of lead and the average size of the cats are 20-40lb. I am edging toward the whisker Seeker but not sure if they ship to the uk.

Bewildered says:

Can you do a review on the ugly stik catfish rod? I didn’t see you say anything much about it. I want to use it for gar fish. I was told what can handle big cats can handle big gar. 7 ft med heavy?

John Ely says:

love your videos I have learn a lot more about how to catch bigger fish. and I would GLADLY love to when that pole.

Daniel Delarosa says:

I agree, Team Catfish products are overpriced. its like buying a Smith and Wesson.

John Doe says:

Should try the 20$ berkley big game I pulled up a 70lb log

Jackson Morris says:

What did you pair the b&m silvercat with? I’m looking for a spinner

Alec Ehrisman says:

How much weight can the silver cat throw?

Jason Welker says:

What do you have the cat buster paired with?

Ajoy Dinda says:

In India all the rod are not available

Roger Sham says:

I really like your video and i enjoy fishing here in the Philippines

Katie Arnott says:

i will gladly take the st. croix mojo rod if you don’t want it Luke.just saying. hehe

america2revolt says:

Hey brother. For Father’s Day do a actual fishing review video on the Lew’s Cat Daddy Rod and Reel Combo you can buy at Walmart right now for $20. Talk about a budget minded rod and reel combo!! I got my dad one for a Father’s Day gift. Thanks man!! Love your videos!!

Steve's Rocketry Workshop says:

Can you try reviewing a Lew’s Cat Daddy? I bought one a couple of weeks ago at Walmart. It was on sale for $15. It seems like a pretty good combo to me caught a lot of fish and even a couple of turtles on it in just the last 3 weeks. I want to hear your opinions on it.

Worth Doss says:

Calling BS, put Walmart Swamp Cat on the st. croix mojo and see how much they like it.

Kevin Holyfield says:

Based on your recommendation, I bought 2 BnM Silver Cat rods. On the second day of use, one of the rods broke during a cast. When I contacted Janice at BnM, she stated the rod could not break like that during casting. Returned rods to where I purchased them. I will return to using Penn equipment which has performed flawlessly for many years.

Noah zempel says:

I’d be interested in a review of the Berkeley MudCat

Dan Williams says:

Didn’t pick up or mention the ugly stik catfish series. To me it’s the best ugly stick for catfishing, better action than the tiger or gx2 but also got the backbone

Nick Dexter says:

Do you know where I can pick up the meat hunter if not I will just go with the rippin lips I don’t catfish enough to buy a st.croix

Frank Shanks says:

Can you do a review on Kastkings Kast Kat? It’s 60.00 free shipping.
