Lipless crankbaits are one of the all-time best baits for fishing the ever changing conditions of the fall. Bass are feeding heavily on baitfish, like shad, and a lipless crankbait is a perfect imitator for this type of forage. One of the best ways to fish this bait is to tick the top of a grass line and rip the bait out of the grass when it gets bogged down. This quick darting action of the lipless crank will often draw a crushing reaction strike from bass in the fall.
