Carp fishing in winter is not enjoyed by many. Many anglers preferring the warmer months for obvious reasons. Yet, if they were prepared – had the correct clothing and ensured they setup correctly with the weather in mind, then carp fishing in winter is just as fun and can also be just as rewarding as the warmer months.
In this video we take you through setting up your bivvy to ensure you stay as warm as possible at night. Creating as many insulated layers as possible in and around your bed is of utmost importance. Many anglers choose to leave their bivvy as empty as possible and leave all of their fishing luggage on their barrow – a mistake many anglers make!
If you are sitting put in a location and you know its a cold one – get that fishing luggage in your bivvy and under your bedchair, giving you the most warmth as possible throughout the winter nights.
