What is the PowerPro Advantage
PowerPro’s unique composition and EBT give you a line that is:

Rounder and more compact
• Won’t bury in the spool
• Spools and packs better on any reel
• Picks up less water
• Has unbelievable strength-to-size ratio

Structurally Superior
• Reduces wind knots, backlashes, guide and rod tip wraps
• Ties more easily and holds knots better
• Near zero stretch
• No reel memory

Smoother and Slicker
• Sails effortlessly through guides for longer casts
• Won’t cut guides
• Resists abrasion by equipment or natural hazards
• Maintains performance over time

David Henault says:

Kadir Power Pro and other braids do not offer abrasion resistance try using a leader of fluorocarbon or monofilament and make sure that your guides are not broken or cracked.

c00lermaster100 says:

for bass fishing i mostly use 10-20 pounds because they are incredibly strong. Even 5 pound are tough. Don’t cut your self though.

And its perfect for snagging 🙂 Lol

love it

Сергей Болтовский says:

I like power pro. Use it for  shore jig casting, and spoons. It strong and durable. Much better than pe lines like sunline or ygk. Of Course with pe lines your have better casting distance. But power pro have much better abrasion resistance and its good  for shore-jiging whith 34 -2 oz  sinkers and soft baits. Much better than PE lines like Sunline or Ygk.   I usually use 10-30 lb test.  And it works well in winter

Austin Allgire says:

how did you break this stuff? were you using light strength and get snagged? i have 20lbss test and got in a 30lbs catfish and used the same line to reel in a few other 10pounders. unless you used a duller blade to cut the line and got it frayed i cant imagine what happened. or your knot slipped off do to its slickness. done that alot!

Troutfishernz says:

good line in its day but there are better braids around now

Jaleel King says:

Thanks for the review. I picked up some this line as I try to get back into fishing. I couldn’t understand why you would need or want to use a leader on this but you explained it at the end. Much appreciated!

YahwehOrNoWay1 says:

so this holds up well in salt? Rinsing still required?

giacomo garbin says:

this type of line(power pro) is good to pike fishing in spinning ?

Maleke Ebanks says:

hey,why do you use a leader instead of just typing braid to lure?

Fish Head says:

you might want to put about 300 meters of 50 pound braid on your spool because those 3 pound bass can easily spool you

David Henault says:

You should check your guides and make sure you use a leader.

Julio Salazar says:

gnonymouse says:

I wasn’t that happy with power pro it’s not that good in my opinion. The best braid is Samurai by far.

William Munny says:

sufix832 is better hands down….

Jason Rhome says:

I just caught a 35 pound turtle on the 65 pound test my pole almost broke but the string held perfectly
