I was very disappointed with the last spool of fireline original that I bought as it only lasted about one outing on my 220n, never buying that again. However I find that fireline crystal lasts a very long time even on dam quick reels with fixed tungsten carbide line guides, I will admit that it is to close to dental floss for comfort though. Cast king braid is awesome but I fear that it is only a matter of time before the company gets bought out and the quality becomes terrible.
