LED Fishing Rod Tip Light & Twin Bells review

What’s up, guys? Bird from birdknowsbest.com doing a review on some LED fishing rod tip light with twin bells. These are alarm bells so if you’re fishing from the shore at night and if you get a strike, it’ll shake. You just take its clamp here and clamp this under your pole. And then, when a fish hits it, it’ll make a noise and alert you. And the first thing you have to do is unscrew this part here and you’ll see there’s this cardboard on the bottom. You just simply take that off and now, you expose the battery, and you just screw it in. And if you screw it in far enough, the light comes on. And then, to turn it off, it’s a red light. You just go like that. It’s easy to attach the LED by the alarm. You simply grab it by the neon green part here and squeeze it like a paperclip so you squeeze this and it opens. And then, you just simply put it on the end of the fish pole like so. And then, when you get a bite, you hear that noise like that. Very easy to do.

I’ve got the alarm bells on the pole of mine at night. I’m just going to simply turn them on, turn it to the right, and you get that nice glowing red light. And you can hear the bells as well. So what I’m going to do now is to see…leave this light out over night and see how bright it is in the morning. The current time is 11:35 on September 2nd. And when I come back in the morning, I’m going to see how bright the light still is and let you guys know. All right, so it’s 8:30 the next morning. You can see the light is pretty much dim. It’s definitely still on. There’s a tiny faint little bit of red of it. But after eight hours, light’s going to be completely off so I would say maybe it’s good for two to four hours of full brightness. I’ve got the LED bite alarm bell on the right and the traditional copper bell on the left. And these are the exact same pole. And what I’m going to do is just shake them both. They were to bite so you can hear the difference.

So the LED sounds kind of like Santa Claus to me. And this one is the copper bell. Personally, I prefer the copper bell. I find it to be louder. And if a fish bites it aggressively, you’re going to really hear whereas, if you bite the alarm bell aggressively, you basically hear the same thing. Now, this has the light, which this does not, but for actual just audio, I prefer the traditional copper bell. The LED fishing rod tip lights do work. The light doesn’t last the super long time. But one nice feature is when the light’s done, you can just pop it out and throw it away. So you have that option if you want it. It’s not as loud as a traditional copper bell so if you want that, just stick with those, but these are only $7 or 10 on Amazon. I’ll provide a link and description below. And if you do like the product, it will be featured on my Amazon Store on my website at birdknowsbest.com so check that out. Check out my other videos, subscribe to my channel. And until next time. Ca Caw!

Nice review. Was looking at getting these from ebay. Do you know if you can replace the batteries when the ones fitted runs down.
