Depth finders are very expensive these days. I came across a handheld portable fish finder for a decent price and figured why not? My first opinion on the Hawkeye Fishtrax fish finder is a decent one. Right out of the box and Im impressed. Stay tuned for the on the field video!

Totally cool product, and btw, congrats on 10k!!
You can get a brand new garmin striker 4 that is awesome for $99. It had GPS and tracks your path so you can drop weigh points. Has a flasher for ice fishing and comes with everything you need but a battery. Plus it tells water temp time of day and speed of boat. Dual beam 77/200.
I use mine for ice fishing. I stuck it on a mini gopro grip tripod thing and it’s awesome. Rechargeable batterys work great, even in -20c. I get like 10ish hours out of my rechargeables.
Nice system.
Seems interesting. You should do more videos like this. Maybe even some how to videos 🙂 have fun using the hawkeye!
Looking forward to the test. I’m shopping a fish finder right now. I’d love to be able to get something not so bulky, but I also would like side scan capability. I’m so torn. haha.
