You sold me i was going to get a duckett but I just bought the Tatula reel so I might as well get the rod too. I have never heard someone say anything but great things about this rod and reel and have read that daiwa has the best customer service.

bro do you think this is okay to use in saltwater inshore fishing for fluke, trout and redfish? thanks

nate Hessman says:

Diawa rods are good .But there reels sucks .my first bait caster I got was a Diawa .But every Time I reeled it in it wood get stuck between the spool and the body and it wood get stuck in that crack . Then I went to the bps pro qualifier and that never happened on that reel .one of my friends bought a reel by them a while back and he had the same problem. This was a different reel too.the only good Diawas are the $400 ones and my was a $135

Bassmaster Ice says:

Why do you have a Quantum reel and a Daiwa rod? Shouldn’t you have a Tatula Reel on a Tatula Rod?

Mardy Martin says:

Johnny that’s some serious hook sets man ….great video keep it up

Adi Badea says:

I saw a lot of rew about this rods…but no one mention this…the line touches blank when is under pressure in the tip section.

Sweet video bud

James Harper says:

Awesome review man. What action is the rod? All the 7’2″ versions I see are labeled as ‘ regular’ which means moderate. Looking for a rod that is fast enough to fish jigs on flouro, but still has enough bend to keep em’ pinned. Thanks

TackleJunky81 says:

Sweet vid man, nice looking rod!
